Meet Steph
My Story
I’m a working mom. Those two words are so cliché these days. We define ourselves by what we do yet there’s so much more. My husband and I live in Arizona with our son and daughter.
Our girl has special needs and she’s opened us up to a whole new world filled with amazing people. It’s been a very long journey that taught me compassion and understanding.
Growing up in Silicon Valley, I played in our great grandparent’s apricot orchards with my sisters when we were kids. That land happened to be across the street from what became Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California. We played fearlessly and free back then.
Eventually the orchards were replaced with tech buildings and the fast-paced Silicon Valley people survive in today. Moving to Arizona changed the pace for my family and gave us the opportunity to grow in an area that reminded me of my childhood.
My Healing Journey
I’ve always been a spiritual person throughout my life. I really leaned into my spirituality, mental health and well-being after leaving a very toxic manager and work environment. I survived in that environment for several years while my young kids were growing. It was also the same toxic work environment that contributed to my mental breakdown and burnout.
The breakdown was a long-time coming after many years of stress and grief following the loss of my sister from Ovarian Cancer, moving state-to-state a few times, and having a daughter with special needs. Being in that toxic work environment was more than my mind, body, and spirit could take in the end.
I had a lot of wounds and trauma deeply rooted that were compounded by the work experience. My thoughts were running a hundred miles an hour and my digestion was a fiery mess. I was also binge eating and drinking a lot.
I felt like hell physically, mentally, and spiritually after finally leaving the toxic job. It turned out that leaving was the first step in my healing journey.
My Approach to Change
I had to make changes with my lifestyle, diet and how I viewed the world. It was a holistic transformation for me– mind, body, and spirit. I began with therapy and movement which included yoga. Yoga led me to mindful meditation. The meditation led me to Reiki Healing and the glorious sound of singing bowls.
I started to heal my digestive issues when I realized that food is medicine. The changes I made to my eating habits were gradual and became a a new lifestyle choice, not a diet. My transformation included a lot of rewiring my thought patterns, behavior change, and habit upgrades.
“The purpose of one’s journey is to restore ourselves to wholeness.“

Small changes can lead to a big impact in your overall health. I learned that along the way. The big lofty goals sound great, but aren’t sustainable in the end. Breaking everything down into bite sized pieces is a recipe for success. Change becomes manageable and even fun as you build upon each success.
I can share so much more about my healing journey, but the most important thing is, like me, you can start to heal at any time and at any age.
My Mission
